OIFC is a boutique, single physician medical practice that offers medical and cosmetic treatments for our patients in a stress-free environment. We are an inclusive medical office that strives to make each patient know they are cared for and important. As a physician owned private practice, OIFC has no physician extenders (NP/PA/RN) on staff. Every patient is treated by Dr. Manson, a board-certified podiatric physician and surgeon.
Bunion Surgery
Surgical correction is the most effective method of treatment for bunions and is usually a permanent correction. The bunion surgical procedure is performed at a surgical center or hospital.
Hammertoe Surgery
Hammertoe surgery is a unique procedure that Dr. Manson performs, oftentimes along with bunion surgery. Hammertoe surgery allows you to weight bear immediately, and get back into a gym shoe in a short amount of time!
Hallux Rigidus Surgery
Hallux rigidus, sometimes called stiff big toe or big toe joint arthritis, is when you have big toe pain in the joint where your big toe (the hallux) meets your foot. This pain at the base of the big toe is the most common site of arthritis in the foot.
Ingrown Toenails
Get permanent relief of ingrown toenails with a simple 5 minute in-office procedure. Never get another ingrown toenail. Only the small portion of nail that is ingrown is removed, and the rest of your nail remains intact. Once healed, you often can’t tell any nail was removed.
Plantar Fasciitis Surgery
At Oregon Institute of Foot Care, Dr. Manson can usually resolve most cases of plantar fasciitis with conservative treatments such as icing, stretching, custom orthotics, anti-inflammatory medications, physical therapy, and steroid injections.
Heel Spur Removal Surgery
A posterior heel spur, also called Haglund’s deformity, “pump bump,” or calcaneal spur, is a growth of bone on the rear part or back of the heel bone. A spur forms when the achilles tendon pulls away from its attachment to the bone and a spur forms.
5th Hammertoe Surgery
Fifth digit hammertoes can be troublesome for a patient not only cosmetically, but also functionally. The 5th digit is the small or pinky toe, and a hammertoe is when it curls permanently.
